Frederic, or Fred is a lifelong resident of California. Born and raised in the Imperial Valley, he had his time of adventure in his late teens and early 20's before attending business and computer college in the 80's.
"My mom was a huge inspiration to me when I was growing up. She's been gone eight years and I miss her tremendously", he said of the passing of his mother, Gloria in 2016.
"She came from Madrid, Spain in the early 60's. My dad was studying at the University of Madrid when they met. They got married and came back to the states. My dad got a job at Imperial Valley College (IVC) as a teacher so they settled in El Centro, California".
Unfortunately they didn't last and soon my mom was a single mother of two young boys under five years old, Fred tells us.
"She struggled", Fred recounts as his eyes well up a bit. "She didn't know English, didn't know how to drive and didn't have more than a 6th grade education, the deck was stacked against her".
"I didn't realize it at the time but my mom was an entrepeneur."

"Prior to the real estate market crash of 2007/2008 I had only completed a handful of Broker Price Opinions or BPO's.
A BPO is a property evaluation, similar to an appraisal however the BPO provides a value-range as opposed to an absolute value like an appraisal does.
The value range is further a forecast of the future possibility of sale, typically within 90-120 days, where an appraisal says 'The house is worth X on this date'.
Since August 2008, Fred has completed over 10,000 BPOs all over the Imperial Valley, San Diego, andRiverside County areas.
Single family homes, both attached and detached, condos and townhomes, manufactured homes, multi-family and commercial properties, such as big-box retails, golf courses, trailer parks, motels, and land.
